Registered Nurse - Outpatient Department (RN-OPD)

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient assessment, including vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit.
  • Prepare patients for physician examination and assist during minor procedures.
  • Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Provide comprehensive patient education on disease management, medication, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
  • Manage patient flow and scheduling to minimize wait times while maintaining a high standard of care.
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the clinical area.
  • Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • License: Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an OPD, clinic, or similar outpatient setting.
  • Skills:
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
  • Proficiency in venipuncture and administering injections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy and experience with EMR systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
