The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care and clinical support to patients receiving mental health and psychotherapy services. The RN monitors patient health, administers medications, supports treatment plans, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (RR):
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor mental and physical health status, and document findings.
- Administer prescribed medications and observe for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.
- Support psychiatrists and therapists during patient treatment and care planning.
- Monitor patients for signs of distress, self-harm risk, or behavioral changes and report concerns promptly.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and implement crisis intervention procedures when required.
- Ensure a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications:
- DHA Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing.
- Experience in psychiatry, mental health, or behavioral health nursing preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
