Requirements

Role Overview: A Clinic RN works within the scope of their nursing practice to deliver quality patient care in a clinical setting, collaborating with physicians, specialists, and care teams to support both short-term and long-term patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care & Evaluation Administer treatments and medications as per medical directives.
    • Collect and document patient information upon arrival.
    • Support patient evaluations by assisting in clinical assessments.
  • Patient Education
    • Ensure patients understand post-care instructions and follow-up requirements.
    • Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment plans, and medication regimens.
  • Customer Service & Advocacy
    • Facilitate the resolution of any patient concerns, escalating to the department manager as needed.
    • Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families.
  • Collaboration
    • Maintain open communication within the team to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
  • Administrative Duties
    • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Document all nursing activities and patient interactions accurately.

Summary

Qualifications:

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or within a Nurse Licensure Compact state.

BLS Certification required.
