Registered Nurse (RN)- 7 South Med Surg .9 7p

Where You Will Work:

7 South is a medical surgical, remote telemetry unit that cares for patient’s ages 18+ with a variety of medical conditions. We care for chronic ventilator patients, peritoneal dialysis, administer blood products, provide wound care, and administer heparin and insulin drips. Our nurses work 7 to 7 and our PCIA’s work 6 to 6. There are 44 beds on the unit. All of the beds are semi-private (two patients to a room) and we block the rooms for isolation or ventilators.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Add additional preferred qualifications

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
