Description:
The St. Mary's RN Float Pool consists of 2 different levels:
The Float RN Level 1 is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of specified nursing units. Must have a minimum of 18 monthsmed/surg/intermediate care experience.
The Float RN Level 2 is responsible for assessing. planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of nursing units including specialty areas ( ED and/or Critical Care). Must have a minimum of 18 monthsmed/surg/intermediate care experience and one year of specialty experience, i.e. Emergency/or critical care experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Current BLS certification required.
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Experience: Experience required
A Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing& evaluating the care of patients. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, team dynamics,& hospital systems. Serves as a resource support staff. Requires a high degree of initiative& independent judgment.
