Registered Nurse (RN) - School Setting

Sage Connections is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 support for a student in a school-based setting for the 2025–2026 school year in Augusta, Maine.

Position Details

• Age Range: 1:1 Assignment
• Hours per Week: 22.5 (3 days per week)
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
• Start & End Date: 03/01/26 - 06/04/26
• Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing support throughout the school day
• Ride to and from school with the student to ensure safe transportation
• Monitor and respond to seizure activity (seizure management experience required)
• Provide G-Tube care and feeding support as needed (G-Tube experience required)
• Support mobility and safety; student uses a wheelchair approximately 50% of the time
• Ensure student safety; student wears a protective helmet at all times
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and outside providers as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school health regulations

Qualifications

• Maine RN license required (active and in good standing)
• Experience working with seizure disorders required
• G-Tube experience required
• Current CPR certification required
• Experience in pediatrics or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills
• Compassionate and student-centered approach

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
