What You Will Do:
Direct Patient Support: Perform basic clinical and non-clinical care activities under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assisting patients with personal care, hygiene, and the essential activities of daily living (ADLs).
Safe Mobility & Positioning: Aid in the safe movement, placement, and transport of patients, ensuring proper body mechanics are used to maintain patient comfort and safety at all times.
Clinical Observation & Reporting: Act as a vigilant observer of patient health, promptly identifying and reporting any significant findings or changes in a patient’s physical, mental, or emotional condition to the nursing team.
Environmental & Data Stewardship: Maintain high standards of room cleanliness and order, manage the upkeep of medical equipment, and ensure all patient care activities are accurately documented in the medical record.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire
date or job transfer date required.
Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences:
- Previous RRT experience preferred
