Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong critical‑thinking skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various acuity levels.

• Perform assessments, administer treatments, and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

• Document all care accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

• Adapt to changing patient needs and support the team during high‑volume or emergent situations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience in an acute care setting.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials do not meet requirements for this role.

• Unencumbered New York RRT license in good standing.

• Strong clinical judgment and proficiency with respiratory equipment and protocols.

• Comfortable working various shifts and weekends as needed.
