Atlantic Animal Hospital & Pet Care Resort is a 5-doctor, full-service small animal hospital serving the Wilmington community. We’re proud to offer advanced medical services with a personal touch — from CT scans and laparoscopic surgeries to acupuncture, PRP therapy, and stem cell banking.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician who is compassionate, motivated, and eager to grow. While technical skills are valuable, we hire for personality and cultural fit first — skills can be taught, passion can’t.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient technical skills
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring
- Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and radiographs
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Hospital Hours
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Position Skills:
- Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
- Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
- Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols for fellow staff members
- Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
- Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Position Requirements:
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
