About NIT Powered by Arizona State University (ASU):
NIT is a newly established, federally chartered institution, founded in January 2025, dedicated to delivering a dynamic, student-centered education that equips Pakistani and international students for success in a global environment.
As a member of the ASU-Cintana Alliance, NIT is part of a global network of forward-thinking universities collaborating to expand access to high-quality, innovative education. Through this alliance, NIT benefits from its partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), ranked the #1 most innovative university in the U.S. for 11 consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report (2016–2026).
This alliance supports NIT in enhancing its educational offerings, accessing world-class resources, and expanding its reach through the integration of ASU-aligned curriculum and academic collaboration. Students at NIT have access to a high-quality, globally recognized education. All our programs are developed with ASU-aligned curriculum and offer opportunities—subject to admission and credit transfer requirements—to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degree pathways at ASU, equipping students with the skills and global perspective needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected job market.
Our mission is to advance academic excellence, foster strong industry linkages, and develop forward-thinking, self-motivated individuals equipped to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Following the successful launch of our inaugural cohort in Fall 2025, NIT currently offers majors through the School of Management Sciences, the School of Data Science and Information Technology, and the School of Social Sciences. As part of our expansion for 2026-2027 academic year, we seek to appoint faculty across all schools, as well as in the area of general education.
