Job Summary
The Registrar Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate student records, overseeing the registration process, and supporting the academic progress of students throughout their time at the university. This includes registering courses, processing major changes, managing graduation processes, and ensuring compliance with academic regulations and university policies. The role involves preparing academic reports, issuing transcripts and certificates, facilitating student withdrawals, transfers and ceremonies. The Registrar officer also handles inquiries from students, enforces holds, and collaborates with faculty and staff to ensure timely updates to student information.
Job Description

Register courses for special cases such as retakes, freshmen and any ad hoc cases.

Maintain and update student records in accordance with their registration status.

Process change-of-major requests and prepare related reports.

Every semester, organize and host the honors assembly, including issuing certificates.

Implement course substitution, drop/add/withdrawals, and repeat requests for students.

Answer students’ inquiries daily through the office’s service window and UG Email.

Prepare lists of graduates, oversee the complete graduation process, ensuring all elements of degree audits, graduation eligibility, and GPA revisions.

Issue certificates and transcripts for graduates according to each bylaw. Update records and oversee clearance processes.

Process and record transfer credits internal and external in accordance with university policy.

Enforce holds on students when needed.

Process student withdrawals from courses, semesters, or university.

Issue certificates, transcripts, and enrollment letters for students.

Regularly update students’ information on Power Campus.

Participate in Freshman Orientation.

Perform any additional tasks assigned by the management within the scope of the role.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
-
2 years of similar experience is required.

Strong command of English Language.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent Communication and time management skills.
