Overview:
This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and ensuring company’s compliance with regulatory landscape. This position requires a unique blend of legal expertise, regulatory acumen, and strong leadership capabilities to navigate complex environments and foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance Head
• Design, deliver and improvise, a clearly defined comprehensive compliance monitoring program for complying with the Regulatory compliances across the organisation.
• Conduct training programs on compliance practices and procedures to enhance awareness and sensitize employees to ensure adherence to regulatory norms, laws etc.
• Investigate and promptly resolve compliance-related issues, audit findings and irregularities, ensuring proactive mitigation. Address compliance-related questions from executive leadership and other staff members
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations and advise stakeholders accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with network, IT, legal, finance, and other internal operational teams to devise and enforce robust compliance strategies.
• Prepare detailed compliance reports, records, and other documents and maintain meticulous documentation of all compliance metrics and activities.
• Engage with Internal auditors and work with inter/intra functional teams on identified gaps and implement effective corrective actions.
• Regular and periodic reporting to CRO concerning the monitoring and assessment of the Regulatory compliance in the company.
• Align, plan and take action in dealing with non-compliance situations, creating realistic corrective plans to mitigate them.
Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- LL. B (Bachelor of Laws) degree or a CS (Company Secretary) qualification along with certification in compliance will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of progressive experience encompassing compliance business, preferably within the telecom industry or other regulated sectors.
- Proven track record of navigating intricate regulatory landscapes and driving substantial business growth in diverse international markets.
- Exceptional leadership prowess, adept at influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with a strategic mindset and a profound understanding of global market dynamics and regulatory environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adept at managing complexity, prioritizing effectively, and delivering tangible results.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
