Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assessment & Equipment Setup
Conduct wheelchair assessments in coordination with clinicians and therapists.
Perform proper measurement, fitting, and adjustment of wheelchairs and seating systems.
Recommend and implement appropriate positioning solutions based on clinical needs.
Ensure all mobility equipment is configured according to prescription and safety standards.
Technical Servicing, Modification & Adaptation
Perform mechanical and technical repairs for manual and power wheelchairs.
Modify and adapt seating systems, cushions, leg rests, armrests, and accessories as required.
Diagnose electrical and electronic issues in powered mobility equipment.
Conduct safety checks prior to equipment delivery.
Delivery & Installation
Coordinate preparation and timely delivery of equipment to hospitals or patient homes.
Provide full demonstration and user training to patients and caregivers.
Ensure proper documentation of equipment handover and user instructions.
Maintain delivery timelines and proactively communicate any delays.
After-Sales Service & Maintenance (Core Responsibility)
Provide comprehensive after-sales technical support for all mobility and seating equipment supplied.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance visits when required.
Respond promptly to service calls and breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently to minimize patient downtime.
Maintain service records and follow-up reports.
Coordinate spare parts ordering and replacement when necessary.
Ensure high patient satisfaction through timely and professional service response.
Communication & Coordination
Maintain effective communication with hospitals, therapists, case managers, and end users.
Provide regular updates regarding equipment status, servicing, and delivery timelines.
Escalate operational challenges proactively to the management team.
Collaborate with internal sales, supply chain, and clinical teams to ensure seamless workflow.
Required Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Rehabilitation Engineering, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in wheelchair fitting, servicing, or rehabilitation equipment.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills (manual & powered mobility devices).
UAE Driving License (mandatory).
Experience working with hospitals or rehabilitation centers preferred.
