Tuscola County Medical Care Community (Tuscola Caro) is seeking a dependable, compassionate Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) to support our therapy team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, keeping things organized, and being a steady, positive presence for residents.
Position Overview
As a Rehab Tech, you’ll play an important role in supporting our therapy department’s day-to-day operations. No formal schooling is required, though related experience is always helpful. If you’re reliable, caring, and eager to make a difference, we’d love to meet you.
- Assist therapy staff with preparing, cleaning, and organizing therapy spaces and equipment
- Help residents during therapy sessions, including safe mobility or transfer support
- Transport residents to and from therapy as needed
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in healthcare, senior care, or rehab support is a plus (not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion for working with older adults
- Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers
- $16/hour
- Part-time position
