Rehab Aide – FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers
Position Summary
The Rehab Aide plays a vital support role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic. This individual assists both the front desk and clinical teams by performing administrative, patient support, and facility maintenance duties. The Rehab Aide ensures a welcoming environment for patients and staff while upholding FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers’ standards for exceptional care and service.

Rehab Aides typically work variable hours depending on clinic needs and may be scheduled to fill in for other team members as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Front Office Support
· Support clinicians administratively with phone calls, faxes, requests for clinical information and imaging regarding patient care.
· Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
· Collect patient payments and assist with account balances.
· Check patients in and out efficiently and courteously.
· Maintain accurate and organized patient information in the EMR system.
Clinical Support (Under Supervision)
· Assist clinicians with patient flow and preparation under direct supervision.
· Set up and clean treatment areas before and after patient sessions.
· Escort patients to treatment areas and ensure comfort and safety.
· Ensure all clinical supplies, towels, and linens are readily available.
Facility Maintenance & Housekeeping
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.
· Perform minor housekeeping tasks such as wiping surfaces, restocking supplies, and managing laundry (washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens).
· Ensure that equipment is sanitized and stored properly after each use.
Team Collaboration
· Exhibit a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
· Communicate effectively with both clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
· Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other team activities as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Professional, reliable, and punctual.
· Comfortable interacting with patients and staff in a courteous and respectful manner.
· Basic computer and phone system proficiency required.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for extended periods.
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (linens, equipment, etc.).
· Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of cleaning or treatment materials.
Work Schedule
Part-time position with flexible hours, based on clinic needs. May be required to work mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on scheduling demands.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
