Relationship Manager (Financial Institutions)

To maintain, build and further develop long term relationships with both new and existing Financial Institutionsclients around MENA region. Identify business opportunities and areas of threats for Trade, Treasury and Financingproducts, come up with new initiatives in line with the Bank's risk appetite and policies to raise FI Department's contribution to the Bankand ICBC Group's overall performance.

The candidate will (not limited to)

Responsibilities
  • Pro-activelyManage a Portfolio of countriesand/or FI names in order to achieve targets / KPIs
  • Market ICBC Dubai Branch as Leading bank in Syndicated loan market (origination, distribution, arranger, bookrunner)
  • Manage assigned FI Products such as but not limited to syndicated and/or bilateral loans, along with appropriate coverage
  • Promote CIBM and other products proposed by the Group in order to enhance the cooperation with customers and prospects and increase the branch's profitability
  • Promote ICBC Group products and services to enhance the overall cooperation and maximize profitability
  • Perform analysis to credit worthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor money laundering activities and coordinate remedial actions with department head.
  • Adhere and comply with bank's internal applicable policies and procedures as well as governing regulations issued by concerned authorities
  • Ensure effective utilization of limits in order to maximize profitability
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree with Major in Finance or relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of loan business, financial market, financial and credit analysis.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of FI MENAT Market.
  • Solid knowledge in Treasury, Trade, DCM, Funding Products.
  • Strong ability to provide direction in assessing customer needs and opportunities effectively within the existing, new and prospective customer base.
  • Proven ability, with a successful record of accomplishment in driving a high performance culture across the team delivering customer and financial objectives
  • Ability to effectively plan and organizeand efficiently handle short deadlines.
  • Strict adherence to bank policies to avoid any potential fraud or against operational risks
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and the ability to deliver compelling presentationsin English, Chinese or Arabic is a plus.
