Relay Testing Engineer

This role is responsible for the implementation of tasks as below specific responsibilities:

• Relay Testing
• Insulation, protection and metering testing
• Substation Maintenance.
• Circuit breakers (oil, gas, vacuum and air).
• Current Transformer and Voltage Transformer testing and commissioning.
• HV Transformer, motors, cables, PPE and capacitor testing.
• Transducer, energy meter, multimeter calibration.
• Lead a team on site and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Provide training and development to High Voltage Electricians and Electrical Protections Technicians as required.

Qualifications:

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• PEC Certification
• Protection relay and commissioning experience in Power Industry (4-5 years +)
• Familiar with test equipment such as Omicron etc.
• Previous experience producing technical reports.
