You’ll be our: Reliability Test Engineer
You’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bannerghatta Main Road, Bengaluru
You’ll be Aligned with: Lead Reliability and Durability - Product Validation
You’ll be a member of: Product Validation Lab Team
What you’ll do at Ather:

To perform Automotive electrical component reliability testing.

Reliability test planning , coordinating with test engineers for test execution and report preparation.

Derive correlation establishment for reliability demonstrated testing.Define the test to life correlation to prove the reliability of the AnM components
-
Work closely with Engineering and product quality teams (CFT) for development of AnM components etc..

Capable of Identifying the critical field failures and reproducing the same at lab conditions to derive the new test methodologies.

Ability to prepare and deliver required load boxes and automated test setups for test execution.

Ensure all the tests are done as per standard test procedure and test quality being maintained.

Failure investigation - root cause analysis for the test failures.

Estimate failure probabilities and reliability life through mathematical models and statistical methods

Good understanding of reliability lab equipment - climatic chamber,Salt spray chamber, UV chamber, vibration shaker,IP & DAQs etc.-Must Have

Good understanding about automotive electrical & electronics manufacturing processes.

Could be able to define the change based validation requirements for electrical components.
Here’s what we are looking for:

Strong understanding of automotive electromechanical loads on electronic components, physics of failure of such components, different aging laws to define the accelerated test profiles for reliability testing

Complete understanding of available international standards for reliability testing like ISO, IEC, ASTM etc.

Experience in raw measurement data (stain, vibration etc.) processing and data analysis

Experience in handling a team

Excellent communication skills
What You bring to Ather:
-
Bachelor’s /Master's in Electrical/ Electronics or related field.
-
3+ years of experience in reliability testing in automotive & Accessories components
