Job Description
Position Overview: The Relocation Consultant is responsible for managing and delivering relocation services for assignees and clients, ensuring a smooth transition throughout the relocation journey. This role covers the full scope of service delivery — from planning and coordination to personal accompaniment and execution on the ground — to guarantee a professional, high-quality, and supportive relocation experience.
Key Responsibilities
Relocation Management and Delivery
Manage and deliver the end-to-end relocation process, including pre-assignment, on-assignment, and post-assignment phases
Personally accompany assignees for home searches, school visits, orientations, and settling-in services
Conduct needs assessments as part of the service delivery, ensuring that each relocation plan reflects the assignee’s and client’s requirements
Ensure services are fully executed, not only arranged, with accountability for results
Coordinate closely with immigration and other teams to align timelines and ensure smooth transitions
Service Quality & Process Excellence
Deliver services in line with client expectations, contractual scope, and company standards
Provide clear updates and communication to all stakeholders throughout service delivery
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and system update
Identify and act on opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of services delivered
Vendor & Partner Collaboration
Coordinate with approved vendors and service providers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of specific services
Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues when necessary to maintain service standards
Reporting and Compliance
Provide status updates and reporting to internal stakeholders and clients as part of service delivery
Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and data protection requirements
Additional Responsibilities
Represent Move One during accompanied services, orientations, and client interactions.
Stay updated on local housing markets, schooling options, and cultural trends to provide accurate guidance during delivery
Skills
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
1–2 years of experience in relocation coordination, customer service, or global mobility
Fluency in English and the local language (additional languages are an advantage)
Strong customer service orientation with clear, confident communication skills
Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels with professionalism
Familiarity with expat housing markets and schooling options
Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills
High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with relocation management software is an advantage
