Remodel Contractor

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Remodeler to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of remodeling projects, including interior and exterior renovations, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety. This role requires a strong background in construction techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools. The Remodeler will collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and clients to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications. Experience with diverse construction disciplines such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work on dynamic projects that enhance residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute remodeling plans.
• Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and finishing work.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim carpentry, stucco, plastering, and glass.
• Conduct plumbing and electrical tasks in compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Operate heavy equipment and scaffolding safely during construction activities.
• Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for various tasks such as caulking, concrete forming, masonry, welding, and fabrication.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards through inspections and adherence to project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential or commercial remodeling projects with a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles.
• Skilled in construction estimating and site inspection processes.
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing, heavy equipment operation, restoration work, hardscape installation, roofing, framing carpentry, drywall hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry work, plastering techniques, welding procedures, cabinet installation, glass installation, caulking techniques, trim carpentry, stucco application—all relevant to remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and building codes is essential.
• Prior experience working with diverse materials such as concrete, wood framing materials (PERSON), metal fabrication components (PERSON), and finishing products is preferred. Pay: $202.50 - $243.88 per day
