Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering, masonry, and related trades, with experience working on various renovation, restoration, and new construction projects. This role involves applying plaster and stucco finishes, working with concrete forms, and collaborating on diverse building tasks to ensure high-quality results on commercial and residential sites.

Duties

• Apply plaster, stucco, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces using hand tools and power tools
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming before application
• Install rebar, metal studs, and framing components as needed for structural support
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications
• Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation or material handling
• Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and caulking tasks to ensure seamless finishes
• Perform masonry work including tile laying, metal stud framing, and roof-related tasks when required
• Collaborate with team members on demolition, renovation, or restoration projects
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in plastering, masonry, or related construction trades with knowledge of concrete finishing and stucco application
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and scaffolding setup
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and material calculations preferred
• Knowledge of rebar installation, framing (including carpentry skills such as trim carpentry), roofing, caulking, tile laying, and metal stud framing is a plus
• Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for site travel or material transport purposes
