Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Remodeling Design Assistant to join our creative team. In this role, you will support the design process from concept to completion, assisting with material selection and project coordination. Your enthusiasm for interior design and remodeling will help bring our clients’ visions to life while ensuring smooth project execution. We are seeking a professional who will be dedicated to More for Less Remodeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed design plans using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite. This is a plus but not required as we have a team who handles design plans.
• Support the development of remodeling concepts by preparing visual presentations and mood boards that incorporate color theory and lighting design principles. We have a showroom with displays, examples of kitchen and bathrooms, and the finishes used in home remodeling. Our showroom design center has extensive choices of cabinets, countertops, tile, luxury vinyl plank flooring, hardwood flooring, Plumbing fixtures, tile, Onyx collection, neolith, to name a few. We sell the finishes along with the labor and design. We do custom high-quality remodels.
• Meet with customers for selection appointment, organize and document selections, communicate with customer revised 3D renderings and product details, provide options if needed, and meet until you have the design finalized and approved to order.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and More for Less team to ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
• Stay informed about current trends in interior design, remodeling techniques, and construction practices to bring innovative ideas to projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 2020 or any listed are a plus. SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles.
• Experience with remodeling projects including renovation planning and construction processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently through effective project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members throughout all project phases.
• A background in interior design or related field is preferred; experience in remodeling or construction is a plus. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
