Salary Range: $1,000 – $1,500 USD/month (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle (planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
• Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Review and optimize application architecture, code quality, and system performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Security teams to align application initiatives with business needs.

2. Application Security

• Implement and enforce secure coding practices across development teams.
• Conduct regular code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as OWASP, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Lead incident response and remediation for application-related security issues.
• Work with the IT Security team to integrate DevSecOps principles into development processes.

3. Project & Team Management

• Lead and mentor developers, QA engineers, and security specialists.
• Define project scopes, milestones, and timelines while managing budgets and resources.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and results to key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, security posture, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 7+ years of experience in software or application development.
• 3+ years in a leadership or project management role.
• Proven experience managing full-cycle application development in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with application security tools (e.g., SonarQube, Burp Suite, Fortify).
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CSSLP, or AWS Solutions Architect are advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
