ModSquad is seeking detail-oriented Audio Content Evaluators to review and assess music, podcasts, and audiobooks for global audiences.

As a member of this team, you’ll apply your language expertise, cultural knowledge, and understanding of audio streaming experiences to interpret user intent, evaluate content relevance, and deliver accurate, thoughtful annotations. This position requires comfort with nuance, strong research skills, and the ability to adapt quickly as project types and priorities change.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and annotate audio content and search scenarios with accuracy and cultural awareness

• Interpret user intent from queries and listening contexts

• Research and validate information to support high-quality evaluations

• Apply detailed guidelines consistently while exercising sound judgment

• Clearly document insights and questions in English

• Meet 1 - 2 week annotation deadlines across rotating project types

• Incorporate feedback and escalate issues when appropriate

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

• Deep familiarity with regional music, podcasts, and audiobooks

• Comfortable navigating audio streaming platforms on desktop and mobile

• Annotation or rating experience, including subjective evaluations

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Proficient with Google Workspace (especially Sheets) and web-based tools

• Reliable, adaptable, and open to feedback

Workspace Requirements

• Dedicated laptop or desktop computer running Windows 11 or macOS Sequoia or Tahoe

• Willingness to install ModSquad security systems on computer and mobile phone

• Stable broadband internet (50 Mbps or higher)

• 8 GB RAM or greater

• Dual monitors highly recommended
