We are currently seeking a diligent and compassionate Remote Case Intake Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new members, playing a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and efficient start to their care journey. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine passion for helping others. Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary point of contact for all new case referrals, gathering essential information from members and healthcare providers.
* Accurately and efficiently enter new member data and case details into our case management system.
* Verify member eligibility, benefits, and other relevant information in a timely manner.
* Conduct initial assessments to ensure all required documentation is complete and correctly filed.
* Assign new cases to the appropriate case manager or clinical team based on established guidelines.
* Communicate clearly and empathetically with members, their families, and healthcare professionals.
* Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive personal and health information with the utmost professionalism.
* Provide administrative support to the wider case management team as required.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in an administrative, data entry, or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare or managed care setting.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data entry or CRM systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and proactively in a remote working environment.
* A compassionate and professional demeanour when interacting with members.
* Knowledge of Medicaid or managed care principles is highly desirable but not essential.
