We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our community, providing exceptional support to parents, guardians, volunteers, and partners. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator who is deeply aligned with our mission to empower young people. 


Responsibilities


 

  • Manage a high volume of incoming enquiries via telephone, email, and other digital communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information about our programmes, registration processes, schedules, and events.
  • Assist parents and guardians with enrolment, payments, and any queries related to their child's engagement with the Club.
  • Address and resolve issues or complaints with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Maintain precise and organised records of all community interactions and transactions within our database.
  • Collaborate effectively with programme staff and other team members to ensure a cohesive and positive experience for all our stakeholders.
  • Uphold and promote the mission and values of the Boys & Girls Club of El Paso in every interaction.

Qualifications


 

  • Proven experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse community.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to finding effective solutions.
  • A dedicated, quiet home office setup with a reliable, high-speed internet connection is essential.
  • Previous experience working within a non-profit organisation or the youth development sector is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish would be a significant asset.
