Horizon NJ Health is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a Full-Time basis. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to improve access to quality healthcare for low-income individuals and families. Horizon NJ Health is a leading healthcare organisation dedicated to serving Medicaid recipients through comprehensive services, including preventive care, wellness programmes, and mental health support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our data, which is crucial for delivering exceptional care and support to the communities we serve. This is a fully remote position, requiring a high degree of self-motivation and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Accurately and efficiently enter a high volume of data from various sources into our databases and systems.
* Verify the accuracy and completeness of data, identifying and correcting any errors or inconsistencies.
* Handle sensitive and confidential member information with the utmost discretion, adhering to all data protection and privacy regulations.
* Prepare, sort, and organise documents for data entry.
* Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
* Perform regular database maintenance and data cleansing to ensure information is up-to-date and reliable.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure data consistency and support departmental objectives.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar position.
* Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with data management software.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Excellent understanding of data confidentiality principles.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience within the healthcare sector or with medical data is highly desirable but not essential.
