Remote Dispatch Manager

Job Summary
As a Dispatch Manager, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication between various teams. Your leadership will drive efficiency in transportation planning, fleet management, and dispatching processes. You’ll utilize your skills to execute the day-to-day operations of or transportation fleet.

First interview will be done vertually. Follow-up interviews will be conducted in person.

What you’ll do

• Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of passengers.
• Utilize Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to optimize routing and scheduling.
• Schedule and manage our dispatch platform
• Maintain effective communication with drivers, clients, and dispatchers to maximize efficiency.
• Train and mentor dispatch team members on best practices in dispatching and customer service.
• Schedule daily routes
• Manage fleet to ensure on-time performance
• Manage vehicle maintenance.

Basic qualifications

• Ability to communicate with other team members, dispatcher, drivers, vendors and customers
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to mentor fellow employees, for advancement in a growing company
• Have and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
• Must have clean driving record, for previos 7 years. No tickets, accidents, or suspensions
• Have and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card
• Ability to pass both pre-employment background and drug screenings

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in transportation planning and logistics management. Not required, but a plus
• Excellent customer service skills.
