Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Design) with strong proficiency in BIM modeling and Revit to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical design and coordination for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical accuracy, design integrity, and compliance with local and international standards. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, innovative, and sustainable designs.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and review detailed electrical designs, including lighting, power distribution, earthing, ELV, and fire alarm systems.

· Prepare design drawings, load calculations, and technical documentation using Revit and BIM modeling tools.

· Coordinate electrical design with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, structural, architectural) to ensure seamless integration.

· Perform BIM clash detection and resolve design conflicts through effective interdisciplinary collaboration.

· Ensure compliance with QCDD regulations, local authority requirements, and international design standards.

· Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input throughout all project stages.

· Support the preparation of tender documents, design reports, and material specifications.

· Implement best practices for sustainable, energy-efficient, and value-engineered design solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in BIM modeling and Revit (mandatory).
• Familiarity with QCDD requirements and design approval processes in Qatar.
• Strong technical understanding of MEP coordination and design documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with engineering consultancies in Qatar or the GCC region.
• Hands-on experience with BIM coordination workflows and Revit-based design documentation.
• Knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and sustainable design principles.

Language Requirements

• English: Mandatory (spoken and written)
• Arabic: Advantageous
