Remote English as a Second Language Tutor

Online ESL Teacher (K–12 & Adult Learners)

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Online ESL Teachers to instruct Korean students of various ages in a virtual classroom setting. Teachers will deliver engaging, interactive lessons, support student progress, and help create a positive and supportive learning environment using the provided curriculum and digital teaching tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver online English lessons using company-provided curriculum and materials
• Teach 25-, 15-, and 7-minute sessions depending on student placement and needs
• Facilitate interactive activities that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
• Track student progress and provide timely feedback and class evaluations
• Utilize Zoom and other online platforms to enhance instruction
• Maintain consistent professionalism, punctuality, and classroom management standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Citizenship from the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom
• Reliable high-speed internet via Ethernet or landline connection (Wi-Fi not permitted)
• Professional-grade headset with a functioning microphone (earbuds not accepted)
• Quiet, professional teaching environment suitable for online instruction
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt instruction to the learner's level
• Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• ESL certification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching beginner-level ESL learners

Schedule

• Evening Shift (KST): 18:00 – 24:00 (05:00 – 11:00 AM EST)
• Morning Shift (KST): 07:00 – 11:00 (18:00 – 22:00 EST)
• Minimum commitment: 4 consecutive hours per day, 5 days per week
• Fixed schedule; availability requirements are non-negotiable

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• ESl Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
