Duties

• Prepare detailed financial statements using QBO, reports, and analyses in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate profit & loss statements, cost accounting data, and investment performance.
• Support budgeting processes by developing forecasts, variance analyses, and financial planning models.
• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Perform account analysis and reconcile discrepancies across various financial software platforms.
• Assist in the interpretation of financial reports to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with teams in corporate finance, public accounting, and internal departments to optimize pricing strategies and sales forecasts.

Skills

• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss management, cost accounting, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in QBO.
• Proficiency in financial analysis techniques including forecasting, budgeting, and financial report writing.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including SOX compliance and GAAP standards.
• Experience with technical accounting practices and corporate accounting procedures.
• Ability to interpret complex financial reports and provide actionable insights through clear report interpretation.
• Familiarity with financial software tools used for account analysis and financial management.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.
