Remote Freelance Sales Recruiter (US-Based)

Job Description

GenSales Marketing Group is seeking an experienced independent recruiter to help us identify and attract high-quality, U.S.-based B2B Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and B2B Appointment Setters.

We are expanding, and our team of US-based remote outbound B2B sales development independent contractors is growing. Our team possesses strong B2B cold calling skills as well as expert prospecting and appointment setting skills. We are looking for a solo recruiting partner who understands how to find candidates with the right mix of phone presence, prospecting ability, professionalism, and appointment-setting experience.

This is a remote contract opportunity for a recruiter who has a proven background in sourcing and screening talent for outbound B2B sales roles.

Responsibilities

  • Source, identify, and engage qualified U.S.-based B2B SDRs and appointment setters
  • Recruit candidates with proven experience in outbound prospecting and cold calling
  • Screen applicants for communication skills, professionalism, and role fit
  • Evaluate candidates based on B2B lead generation, appointment setting, and sales development experience
  • Present qualified candidates in a timely and organized manner
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates
  • Communicate consistently throughout the recruiting process
  • Partner with GenSales Marketing Group to refine search criteria and improve candidate quality

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a contract, freelance, or independent recruiter
  • Strong success recruiting for B2B SDR, inside sales, appointment setter, business development, or outbound sales roles
  • Experience evaluating candidates for phone-based sales positions
  • Strong sourcing and screening skills
  • Ability to identify candidates with real-world cold calling and prospecting experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be based in the United States
  • Ability to work independently and produce results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for outsourced sales teams, lead generation firms, or sales agencies
  • Existing network of U.S.-based sales development professionals
  • Familiarity with KPI-driven sales roles and outbound performance expectations
  • Ability to distinguish high-performing outbound b2b cold calling talent from general sales applicants

Ideal Candidate

The ideal recruiter knows what strong outbound B2B appointment setting/sales talent looks like and has experience finding candidates who are comfortable with high-volume yet quality cold calling, prospecting, and setting qualified B2B appointments. You should be confident in identifying professionals who can succeed in a performance-driven sales environment.
