Remote Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor

Addiction Behavioral Care is seeking a Remote Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team based in Nashville, TN!

ABC Health evidence based substance abuse treatment, integrating a trauma informed recovery-oriented systems of care model with emphasis on medication-assisted treatment.

The Counselor's responsibilities include, but are not limited, the following:

Provide comfort care and counseling to patients.

Conducts assessment of the biopsychosocial needs of client

Develops the Individual Treatment Plan goals and objectives based on the above assessment along with the patient's input at least every 6 months

Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance.

Utilizes their ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize duties and work closely with other programs/projects.

Conduct initial and ongoing patient information collection.

Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.

Assist with case management services

Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA regulations

Required Education, Licensure, Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders.)
Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment working in a human services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
-REQUIRED TENNESSEE- Licensure or certification in medical health or social services field including but not limited to LPC, LCSW, LADAC, LMSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP
Flexibility for weekday, weekend, holiday, and evening hours is required.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:

• Addiction counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
