Responsibilities

As a Remote Live Chat Agent, your primary role will be to provide exceptional support and guidance to our community through our digital channels.


 

• Engage with individuals via live chat in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Provide accurate information about our foundation's programmes, resources, and support services.
• Actively listen to understand the needs and challenges of each person, offering appropriate assistance and emotional support.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and care.
• Manage multiple chat conversations effectively while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions within our internal systems.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a consistent and supportive experience for those we serve.
• Escalate complex or urgent cases to the appropriate department for further action.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with outstanding communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.


 

• Proven experience in a customer support, advisory, or client-facing role, preferably involving text-based communication such as live chat or email support.
• Exceptional written English communication skills, with excellent grammar, spelling, and a clear, empathetic tone.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate sensitive and emotional conversations with grace and professionalism.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• A high level of integrity, reliability, and respect for confidentiality.
• Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with digital communication platforms.
• A deep sense of empathy and alignment with the mission and values of the Abounding Grace Foundation.
