We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced news analysts, reporters, and journalists with strong backgrounds in editorial judgment, domain-specific problem-solving, and high-quality written communication.

This role supports an exciting collaboration with a leading frontier AI research laboratory focused on advancing research and infrastructure for next-generation machine learning systems through domain-specific deliverables and review workflows.

Selected professionals will create deliverables based on common requests within their professional domain and review peer-developed outputs to support AI research quality. This opportunity is especially well-suited to journalists and media professionals with strong writing discipline, editorial instincts, and real-world experience producing and evaluating high-quality work under professional standards.

Domain Deliverable Creation

Create deliverables based on common requests within the news, reporting, and journalism domain

Peer Review & Quality Improvement

Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality

Professional Expertise & Independent Execution

Apply real-world journalism and reporting experience to structured project work

Work independently and remotely while maintaining strong writing quality and consistency

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

4+ years of professional experience in news analysis, reporting, journalism, or a closely related editorial field

Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling

Strong editorial judgment and comfort producing deliverables based on real professional requests

The ability to review peer work thoughtfully and improve output quality through clear feedback

The ability to work independently and manage structured project work effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Experience producing or editing high-quality journalistic content under deadline-driven conditions

Ability to translate real-world media and reporting knowledge into structured deliverables

Familiarity with workflows that require strong written precision, editorial consistency, and professional judgment

Comfort contributing to AI-related research work through realistic professional scenario design and output review

Contract Details

Independent contractor role

Fully remote with flexible scheduling

Compensation is task-based, with competitive pay of approximately $500–$1,000 per completed task, subject to change as the project evolves

Expected commitment of approximately 15 hours per week

Project duration is approximately 2 weeks, with potential for expansion

Top performers may receive a weekly bonus incentive in addition to per-task compensation

Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance

Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise

Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
