Remote Part-time Math Teacher for Children

Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to work with children in math across all levels. Classes will cover a wide range of topics, from foundational skills such as basic math functions and place value to more advanced concepts including fractions and complex equations, depending on the student’s level. These classes will take place once a week for 15 weeks, with the opportunity to continue progressing with the same students in future sessions if desired. We provide all lesson materials, so minimal lesson planning is required!

Who would be our ideal fit?

• Someone who loves working with kids and can teach in a developmentally friendly manner.
• Please, do not apply if you intend to only teach for a few weeks. Our courses are built to last for 15 weeks with minimal interruptions. We expect kind, respectful, reliable, and high-quality candidates.
• Required to pass a background check
• Must read and answer emails right away to ensure that students get quality feedback as well as respond if you are able to take a class that's offered.
• The ideal candidate will understand the concept of time zone difference and work with it daily and comfortably.
• Teaching certification is preferred.
• We will confirm what hours you would be available after the demo.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Proficiency in tutoring students in subjects such as math and literacy.
• Ability to create a safe and supportive classroom environment for all students.
• Competence in utilizing learning technology to enhance instruction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Must have at least a completed bachelor's degree in elementary education, education, k-12 math, or another related degree field.
