Job title: Remote Patient Monitoring Clinical Manager
Purpose/Summary: We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a dedicated Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Clinical Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations, quality, compliance, and performance of the company’s RPM program. This role combines advanced clinical expertise with leadership, operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement responsibilities. The Clinical Manager ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of remote patient care services while supporting clinical staff, optimizing workflows, and driving performance outcomes.
Role & Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the RPM program to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the RPM team.
- Review and monitor patient summaries to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and company protocols.
- Ensure timely response to escalations, abnormal readings, and urgent patient concerns.
- Serve as clinical subject matter expert for RPM workflows and patient care pathways. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations related to telehealth and RPM services.
- Serve as an RPM expert for the organization and with our partners.
- Maintain adherence to CMS guidelines and documentation requirements for RPM billing compliance.
- Participate in audits and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Develop, implement, and refine clinical workflows and protocols.
- Monitor performance metrics including patient data trends, alert response times, and outcome measures.
- Support staffing models and assist with workforce planning through hiring, training, and coaching team members.
- Design and implement scalable processes to promote program growth.
- Identify the learning needs of the team and work with Director of Clinical Operations and the Clinical Education team to address.
- Collaborate to support technology and vendor management with operations, reporting and necessary updates.
- Escalates any concerns with care delivery, relationships or any state/regulatory laws/regulations or employment law to the Director of Clinical Operations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Will have a clinical team reporting directly to you for supervision, growth and development.
- Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes.
- Nourishes clinical team growth by recruiting, orienting, and training clinicians and developing professional growth opportunities.
- Ensure quality by monitoring and maintaining clinical standards of care, compliance with health and safety regulations through audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Accomplishes team results by coaching and performance management with assistance from the Director of Clinical Operations and HR.
- Develop and implement training in collaboration with the Clinical Education team
- Implements and enforce workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
- Collaborates with operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.
- Collaborates with operations to control expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.
- Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as a provider as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory requirements in collaboration with the Clinical Leadership, Compliance, Legal and HR teams.

Credentials:
- Active and unrestricted state licensure in a minimum of five states and willingness to obtain additional if requested.
- Active and unrestricted Advanced Practice Nurse, National Board certification (AANP, ANCC or AACN) OR active and unrestricted Physician’s Assistant NCCPA board certification.
- Must have an active national provider number (NPI).
- Must have active Medicare & Medicaid provider numbers, or willingness to obtain them upon hire.
- Must be eligible to participate in the Medicare & Medicaid programs as a provider
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
- A minimum of one year's experience in a leadership role with direct management of employees is preferred.
- Experience with Remote Patient Monitoring programs is required.
- Strong knowledge of CMS RPM billing and compliance regulations.
- Long term care experience is preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms is required
- Is excited to become a member of the clinical leadership team to coach and grow team members promoting clinical excellence
- Excellent people skills: communicating with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Self-directed with the ability to practice autonomously, but functions as a member of the team
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, people, and deadlines at one time.
Working Conditions: A designated, secure, and private home workspace is required for this remote role to ensure compliance with HIPAA and company privacy and security policies. This workspace must support confidential patient communications and prevent unauthorized access to protected health information. Typing is required. If a personally owned computer is used for this role, it must meet all company-mandated security and encryption requirements as defined by the IT team. Company-provided security software, including platforms for patient video consultations, may need to be installed to ensure the device remains compliant with organizational data protection standards. Periods of prolonged sitting or standing can be expected. Travel requirements could occur based on specific state licensure and leadership needs.
Compensation: This role will be full-time with mostly Monday through Friday work hours. It is composed of clinical managerial leadership within the RPM delivery program. There will be the occasional need to work off hours and possible weekends.
$130,000 - $155,000 per year (within the range, geography, individual pay is determined by jobrelated skills, experience, licensure, and relevant education or training).
