Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Physician Supervisor/Collaborator to oversee the advance practice provider within our Primary Care Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare management and clinical practice. This leadership role involves supervising medical staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as The Joint Commission, CMS and HIPAA, and driving quality patient care through effective utilization management and medical management strategies.

This position requires the supervising/collaborating physician to be readily available via telecommunications for clinical consultation if needed. Clinic operates Mon-Fri; no weekends, no evenings and no holidays.

Status: Contract Remote Position

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide clinical oversight to nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Review medical cases for quality, compliance, and appropriateness of care
• Participate monthly/quarterly outcomes reporting
• Ensure adherence to state and federal healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted OHIO license
• Board certification (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine)
• 3–5+ years of clinical experience
• Experience in primary care, telemedicine, or clinical leadership preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
