Remote Senior Accountant

The Accountant Job is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with Saudi tax laws (including VAT and Zakat), and supporting internal financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with local regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances.

Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file VAT returns and Zakat declarations with ZATCA.
• Ensure accurate documentation for audits and tax inspections.

Payroll & GOSI

• Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with GOSI regulations.
• Maintain employee financial records and benefits tracking.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights to aid strategic decision-making.

Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit readiness.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from Faculty of Commerce English Section
• 4–6 years of accounting experience (previous experience in KSA is a plus)
• Proficiency in accounting software in Odoo is a must
• Strong understanding of Egyptian and Saudi tax laws and regulatory compliance is a plus
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving mindset
