Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our growing remote team. You will be responsible for executing effective Off-Page, On-Page, and Technical SEO strategies to boost organic rankings, drive traffic, and improve visibility across multiple websites.

This is a work-from-home, full-time position for someone who thrives in a results-driven environment and understands how to translate SEO best practices into measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Off-Page SEO

Research and build high-quality backlinks (guest posts, profiles, citations, forums, and PR links).

Maintain 100–120 quality backlinks per project per month.

Identify new outreach opportunities and negotiate placements.

Track backlink performance and ensure compliance with Google’s quality guidelines.

Maintain detailed link-building documentation.

2. On-Page SEO

Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking structures.

Ensure content aligns with target keywords, search intent, and readability standards.

Perform content audits and suggest improvements for better engagement.

Optimize images (alt tags, file size, naming) and page layout for performance and accessibility.

Collaborate with writers to ensure SEO-friendly content across all pages.

3. Technical SEO

Conduct regular site audits using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.

Identify and fix crawl issues, broken links, slow pages, and indexing errors.

Implement and manage sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, and schema markup.

Optimize for mobile performance, HTTPS compliance, and user experience.

Manage redirects, 404 pages, and ensure smooth site navigation.

4. Reporting & Analysis

Create monthly SEO performance reports covering rankings, traffic, and link growth.

Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush) to measure success.

Identify new growth opportunities and report potential SEO risks or drops in visibility.

Keep track of competitors’ SEO activities and share actionable insights.

5. AI in SEO

Utilize AI tools for keyword research, content outlines, and reporting automation.

Ensure all AI-assisted content is human-edited, original, and compliant with E-E-A-T standards.

Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and AI-driven SEO best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2 years of proven SEO experience (agency or multi-project preferred).

Strong understanding of Off-Page, On-Page, and Technical SEO fundamentals.

Hands-on experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.

Good command of keyword research, link building, and content optimization.

Familiar with WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms.

Ability to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
