What This Role Is All About
The Sr Compliance Specialist plays an important part in supporting a strong culture of integrity across Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. This role helps guide the development, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of a comprehensive compliance program that supports safe and ethical operations throughout the organization.
This position partners closely with the Director of Corporate Integrity to develop auditing and monitoring activities that reduce risk, detect concerns, and promote responsible conduct. Work includes supporting risk assessments, reviewing policies, analyzing outcomes, and helping lead system wide initiatives that support compliance with state and federal laws. The role involves developing training materials, leading education sessions, and reviewing processes to ensure they meet regulatory expectations.
The Sr Compliance Specialist also researches complex issues, supports the resolution of compliance concerns, assists in annual planning activities, and maintains clear documentation that reflects the organization’s commitment to accountability. This is a meaningful role for someone who enjoys detail oriented work, ongoing learning, and the opportunity to influence organizational trust, performance, and culture.
