Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio files, dictated notes, and other recordings with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Type documents from various sources, such as handwritten drafts, scanned copies, and other digital formats.
- Format, edit, and proofread documents to ensure they are free of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation issues.
- Organise and maintain digital files in a structured and accessible manner.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Perform data entry tasks as required, ensuring information is entered correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure a consistent standard of quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Typist, Transcriptionist, Data Entry Clerk, or in a similar role.
- Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum of 65 words per minute.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload effectively in a remote setting.
- A professional attitude and a strong understanding of confidentiality requirements.
