Renal Associates is a growing nephrology practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate, professional environment. We are currently seeking a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team and grow with us.

Position Overview

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will assist our healthcare providers with clinical tasks, patient exams, and administrative procedures. This position plays a vital role in supporting our providers and delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits
  • Record and document vital signs, patient history, and medications in the EMR
  • Perform injections, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures as directed
  • Maintain patient flow and ensure a smooth, timely visit experience
  • Assist with testing, procedures, and follow-up care coordination
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies
  • Administer CPR and emergency care when needed
  • Travel as required for clinic operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program (required)
  • Current CPR certification (required)
  • 1+ year experience in a clinical setting or completion of an externship
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Training in basic medical terminology
  • Phlebotomy and/or venipuncture certification may be required
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and assist patients physically
