Role Overview

As a Renewable Energy Project Manager – Wind & Solar , you will lead and oversee the development, construction, and commissioning of wind farms and solar power plants. You will manage cross-functional teams, interface with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, control budgets and schedules, mitigate risks, and ultimately deliver projects to successful operation.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases: from site identification and development to construction, commissioning, and handover
• Perform technical and economic feasibility studies (e.g. wind / solar resource assessment, grid connection studies)
• Manage permitting, licensing, land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement
• Prepare, review, and manage contracts (EPC, O&M, supply agreements)
• Coordinate with internal teams—engineering, procurement, legal, finance—and external consultants or contractors
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, cash flows, and risk management plans
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, national regulations, environmental and safety standards
• Liaise with lenders, investors, authorities, local communities, grid operators
• Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation required for financing, approvals, and project governance
• Drive continuous improvement: propose and implement process optimizations, lessons learned

✅ Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent
• Proven experience (e.g. 5+ years) in managing wind and/or solar power projects
• Strong knowledge of project development, permitting, grid connection, and EPC delivery
• Experience in contract management and procurement
• Financial acumen: budgeting, cost control, cash flow modelling
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Turkish is a strong plus
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
