Job Description:

• Citeline, a Norstella company, has an exciting opportunity for a reporter to join our global editorial team and cover the rapidly evolving medical technology, diagnostics, and digital health sectors.
• As Reporter, you will be primarily responsible for covering the global medical technology, diagnostics, and digital health sectors. You will track policy, regulatory, and commercial developments across major and emerging markets, providing timely, in-depth reporting to help industry stakeholders seize opportunities and navigate a fast-changing landscape.
• You will work closely with senior editors to shape story ideas, develop sources, and produce clear, insightful reporting that helps readers understand how innovation, policy, and market forces intersect in medtech. You will also contribute to multimedia content and event coverage across Citeline’s editorial platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Report and write accurate, engaging news and analysis on primarily medtech regulation, policy, market access, and commercial trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, executives, analysts, and regulators.
• Identify emerging storylines through proactive research and monitoring of global markets.
• Attend and cover virtual and in-person conferences and events.
• Contribute to multimedia initiatives such as podcasts, infographics, and event summaries.
• Support daily editorial production and quality checks as required.
• Meet individual key performance indicators, including story output and reader engagement.

Qualifications:

• At least 5-years of experience as a pharma or healthcare reporter, preferably covering the medtech, diagnostics, or digital health space, and prior experience in healthcare, business, or policy journalism.
• Excellent reporting and writing skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific and business topics clearly.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong industry sources and develop exclusive insights.
• Curiosity about medical technology, diagnostics, healthcare innovation, and regulatory policy.
• Strong research and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Confidence in conducting interviews and developing industry contacts.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and reporting assignments.
