Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
-
Lead Financial analysis of total BS & P&L (S&D/G&A) process for Beverages and Snacks businesses during month-end and its related month end transactions

Ensure BS/P&L accuracy reporting in accordance with PepsiCo P2P/C&B/FA, GL Procedures and policies in accordance to the US GAAP.

Lead IBM team financial deliverables in BS/P&L and meet reporting requirements as per agreed DTP (Desktop Procedures)

Provide visibility of full end-to-end (AP, C&B, OAL, Advances, Capex & Opex) making sure of its effectiveness

Provide management monthly BS/P&L analysis of AP, Advance, OAL, Capex, Opex & C&B in specific and follow up on the rest to make sure of reconciled total BS/P&L and follow-up on the action plans.

Support the reporting function with the required business information to ensure accurate, timely and quality reporting submissions.

Ensure Accurate Payroll related recording & reporting.
Performance Management Reviews

Supporting the management and business decision making process through providing professional finance input and setting action plans.

Monthly & YTD tracking of all costs and expenses

Lead the monthly/Quarter BSR and lead the follow-up on the needed actions

Ensure completeness of all financial transactions provided by the IBM team and communicate the needed adjustments & manage their performance through MOR forum.
Audit & Compliance

Support both external and internal audit on BS/P&L related requests
Ensure business compliance with Statutory, Legal and Taxation requirements, PepsiCo corporate and local business policies & procedures, and ethical business practices -
Partner with BPO (Business process Owner) and CO (Control Owner) in GCS and Fraud risk assessment, monitoring self-testing and remediation of failures for all financial reporting controls.

Update GCS for FR related processes and also support the function leads with (P2P, C&B, FA, R2R) process.

Ensure timely closure of Internal audit remediation and track progress & BAIC issues.
Planning and Forecasting

Partner with Supply chain, GP and planning finance to BS & P&L forecasting and providing directions /trends.
Special Projects

Identify scope for process improvements and interventions from time to time to achieve process simplification / better controls / process standardization / accounting / outsourcing i.e. ICM/Black line & Tangeo

Lead & partner with BIS to implement system enhancements for Business intelligence tool (BI)
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of financial reporting and control experience with accounting designation (CPA or CMA certified is h preferable).

Strong Financial Control and Reporting background working in a global environment.

Strong understanding of the PepsiCo Global Control Standard (GCS) or equivalent
-
Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multi-functional teams in a global virtual
environment -
Strong understanding and aptitude for financials technologies (SAP, Bots, Data Analytics, etc.)

Strong Financial and Control acumen and analytical skills
-
Very good hands-on experience using HFM.
