Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sunday to Thursday)

Core Responsibilities:

• Secretary of the Data Quality Working Group. Prepares working group pack for distribution to the relevant stakeholders and issues minutes after the meeting.
• Owner and developer of the Operational Loss Data Base Data Visualisation Tool (Qliksense).
• Creates and analyses the data in the Operational Loss Data Base based on reporting requirements.
• Extracts reports from Operational Loss Data Base related to issues, actions, internal events, risks, controls, or any such report required by the Governance or Oversight teams.
• Analyses Operational Loss Data Base data and identifies key themes and trends requiring attention from Operational and Resilience Risk (ORR) and various stakeholders across first and second line of defense.
• Follows up on the Operational Risk Oversight Managers in case any additional information is required with respect to the operational losses, internal events and issues and actions.
• Collects the Operational Loss General Ledger data and logs it in the excel sheet for the purpose of recording and preparing various loss reports.
• Reconciles Operational Loss General Ledger to the operational loss data base for ensure data is complete and accurate.
• Supports preparations of regulatory reporting including Q17 and ICAAP.
• Advises and challenges the Oversight Managers on the information provided by them.
• Provides Operational Risk related information to Enterprise Risk Management for the preparation of the ICAAP document.
• Ensures integrity of data maintained in the Operational loss database by performing data quality checks.
• Manages access to the Operational Loss Data Base system.
• Delivers training to first and second line of defense NFR role holders on how the Operational Loss Data Base system supports them in their day to day management of NFR.

Qualifications/Years of Experience:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Data Science is preferred.
• Written and spoken English and Arabic.

Years of Experience:

Around 5 years of experience with preferred 3 years in a relevant role.
