Project description
You'll be working in the Cloud FinOps team in Pune focusing on the continued development of the FinOps practice. Managing and maintaining the existing dashboards and datasets used throughout the bank for Cloud Consumption reporting and optimization analysis, whilst also developing the Data and Analytics team and tools to be able to grow as the FinOps practice continues to mature. As one of the world's largest consumers of Azure cloud services this is an opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding role, and help to drive forward the cultural changes required for successfully navigating the public cloud.
Responsibilities
Ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI, enabling data-driven decision
making across the organization
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Optimize Power BI performance and implement best practices for data modeling and visualization
Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and dashboards
Work closely with data engineers and IT teams to ensure seamless data integration
Automate end to end reporting requirements
Skills
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, data analysis, or reporting
Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Nice to have
Knowledge of Python as well as Azure Function Apps
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure
Experience in a specific domain (e.g., finance/FinOps) is advantageous
