Reporting Engineer

THE ROLE

The report is the product. A test or inspection only has value once it is written up clearly, accurately, and on time. This role owns that final step: turning raw site data from our inspection teams into finished facade, building-performance, and CCTV pipeline reports. You are the person who makes sure what leaves Cornerstone is correct, consistent, and ready for the client.

This is a quality-first seat. You will spend time on site, not just at a desk, so your reports reflect what actually happened in the field.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare facade and building-performance test and inspection reports from data supplied by the site execution team and inspectors.
• Prepare CCTV pipeline inspection reports, translating survey footage and field logs into clear condition assessments.
• Raise the quality and consistency of Cornerstone's reporting: correct interpretation, clean presentation, no loose ends.
• Visit sites to understand how tests and inspections are actually carried out, so your reports match field reality.
• Manage the reporting submission tracker, sequencing reports by schedule and client priority so nothing slips.
• Interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings, and reference them correctly in reports.
• Produce supporting drawings, mark-ups, and layouts in AutoCAD.
• Build clear deliverables in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• A technical or engineering background in civil, building, or a related discipline.
• Confident AutoCAD skills and the ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Clear technical writing: you can explain a finding so a client understands it.

• Willingness to go to site and learn how the work is done.

HELPFUL, NOT ESSENTIAL

• Exposure to facade testing, building-performance testing, or CCTV pipeline inspection.
• Familiarity with UAE inspection or construction standards.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
