Job Description Summary

The Nashville Research Analyst reports to the Senior Research Manager. This position is responsible for supporting all local research output. This role provides support in developing pitch and/or proposal materials as well as local thought leadership. The Research Analyst is accountable for accurate and proactive maintenance of proprietary and third party databases. This position is not specific to a service line but will specialize in office and industrial property types.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Sr. Research Manager to fulfill all research requests
  • Proactively and routinely updates and manages research database(s)
  • Analyzes data, compiles, and writes (or assists in writing) quarterly market reports
  • Contributes to local market thought leadership
  • Participates in development of local requests for research information for pitch and/or proposal materials
  • Attends, participates in, and presents market information and quarterly updates at internal sales meetings
  • Provides property level analytics to fee-earners

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in real estate industry or business environment
  • Experience managing, auditing, and maintaining databases with accuracy and efficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in data analysis and/or commercial real estate
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Resourceful self-starter with the ability to solve problems with minimal direction
  • Collaborative team player with proactive, strong work ethic

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 61,200.00 - $72,000.00
